We are seeking a results-driven Business Partner Manager – Service Sales to lead and expand aftermarket service business within the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) segment. The role is responsible for developing and managing strategic business partnerships, driving service revenue growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction through value-added service solutions. Collaborate closely with channel partners, key accounts, internal sales teams, and service operations to identify new business opportunities. Negotiate service contracts, and ensure successful execution of maintenance, repair, and lifecycle support programs. This role requires a blend of commercial acumen and relationship management ,as you will be responsible for developing partner-specific sales strategies, conducting performance reviews, and providing the necessary training and tools to ensure brand consistency. By aligning partner incentives with the OEM’s lifecycle goals, you ensure that end-users receive world-class support while maximizing the profitability of the installed base. The ideal candidate should possess strong relationship management, commercial acumen, and technical understanding of OEM products and service offerings, with the ability to achieve sales targets, strengthen partner networks, and contribute to long-term business growth. Typically requires 7+ years’ experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. MBA is preferred Responsibilities: • Professional Services, Maintenance and Operational Services sales thru Business Partner • Manage maintenance renewals with a focus on profitable multi‐year agreements, clearly defined deliverables, and a price book to capture upgrade related revenue. • Align service proposals to specific customer requirements thru Business Partner • Close working relationship with sales and the service delivery teams, specifically the Service Engagement Managers and consulting teams. • Increase revenue from existing customers. • Building new revenue streams from Systems Integrators / Service Providers channel partners • Increase services value proposition to customers and sales teams. • Ensure new opportunities have the appropriate maintenance value proposition and multi‐year agreements with clearly defined deliverables and price book for future growth. • Transformation of the sales engagement model to be strategy lead and capable of moving up the “food chain” to allow for an earlier and business level engagement of the services team, specifically the Technology Sales(Product Sales) team. • Develop opportunity specific “Service Solutions” to address non‐standard engagement models, such as Service Provider or Systems Integrator led sales engagements. • Equipping partners with technical knowledge and sales collateral to effectively pitch service value propositions. • Utilizing KPIs to monitor renewal rates, lead conversion, and service sales quality across the partner network. • Focus On Multivendor Business to capture from all existing customer to increase the portfolio of IBM Typically requires 7+ years sales experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. MBA is preferred. Contextual understanding of the Technology Lifecycle Services Business Unit within IBM and also the background understanding of the dynamics of Technology Lifecycle Services Business.
