As an Application Architect specializing in AWS Cloud, you will analyze and translate IT requirements into components of a modernized solution using modernization frameworks. You will leverage your expertise in legacy asset analysis, code restructuring, and refactoring to deliver solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Modernized Solutions: Analyze IT requirements and translate them into components of a modernized solution using modernization frameworks, ensuring effective legacy asset analysis, code restructuring, and refactoring. • Develop Cloud Applications: Develop and test applications in cloud environments, utilizing knowledge of AWS ECS, AWS Lambda function, Elastic Cache, and S3 objects to ensure seamless integration and service exposure. • Enhance Digital Assets: Reuse and enhance digital modernization assets, methods, and collateral to drive efficient solution delivery and business logic extraction into executable business rules. • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Delivery/Engagement teams to ensure successful solution implementation and provide expertise in one or more legacy platforms. • Optimize System Integration: Interface components for reuse by Systems of Engagement, applying expertise in integration and service exposure mechanisms. • Preferred 15+ years of experience. • Legacy Asset Analysis Expertise: Experience with analyzing and translating IT requirements using modernization frameworks into components of a modernized solution, including legacy asset analysis, code restructuring, and refactoring. • Cloud Application Development Knowledge: Experience in developing and testing applications in cloud environments, specifically with AWS ECS, AWS Lambda function, Elastic Cache, and S3 objects. • Legacy Platform Expertise: Experience with one or more legacy platforms, including integration and service exposure mechanisms to interface components for reuse by Systems of Engagement. • Business Logic Extraction Skills: Experience in extracting business logic into executable business rules, leveraging expertise in code conversion and refactoring. • Digital Modernization Asset Enhancement: Experience in reusing and enhancing digital modernization assets, methods, and collateral to drive efficient solution delivery. • Familiarity with Modernization Frameworks: Experience with analyzing and translating IT requirements using modernization frameworks, including legacy asset analysis, code restructuring, and refactoring, is beneficial. • Knowledge of Additional AWS Services: Familiarity with other AWS services beyond ECS, Lambda function, Elastic Cache, and S3 objects can be advantageous in designing and developing modernized solutions. • Exposure to Multiple Legacy Platforms: Experience with multiple legacy platforms, including integration and service exposure mechanisms, can be valuable in driving efficient solution delivery.
