As an Application Developer: Java, you will create and test computer programs using the Java programming language. You will utilize your expertise in Java Object Oriented (OO) programming to develop systems, distributed computing, and Linux development. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Java Applications: Design, develop, and test Java applications using Java Object Oriented (OO) programming principles, ensuring solid foundation in core CS competencies such as data structures, algorithms, and software architectures. • Implement Web Technologies: Apply knowledge of JSP/Servlets, web frameworks, and service-oriented architecture/web services – SOAP/REST to develop scalable web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery. • Work with Data Formats: Utilize markup languages like XML and JSON to store and exchange data between systems. • Test and Debug: Perform thorough testing and debugging of Java applications to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Collaborate on Solution Delivery: Work collaboratively to deliver solutions, leveraging expertise in systems development, distributed computing, and Linux development. • Java Programming Expertise: Experience with Java Object Oriented (OO) programming principles, including systems development, distributed computing, and Linux development. • Core CS Competencies: Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software architectures. • Web Development Skills: Experience with JSP/Servlets, web frameworks, service-oriented architecture/web services – SOAP/REST, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery. • Markup Language Knowledge: Familiarity with markup languages like XML and JSON for data storage and exchange. • Testing and Debugging: Exposure to thorough testing and debugging of Java applications to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Advanced Java Frameworks: Exposure to additional Java frameworks and libraries, enhancing overall development efficiency and application performance. • Cloud Computing Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and technologies, allowing for seamless integration with existing infrastructure. • Agile Development Methodologies: Experience with agile development practices, promoting iterative and collaborative approaches to software development.
