Position Summary:
The Leadership Giving Administrative Temp will work with the Leadership Giving staff under the direction of the Deputy Director, Federal Club, facilitating and executing tasks and activities in support of the overall function of HRC’s Leadership Giving program. The Leadership Giving Administrative Temp must be extremely proactive, detail oriented, with database experience and demonstrate aptitude to handle a multitude of details simultaneously.
This is a three-month in-person hybrid position beginning in early June and ending in September 2026.
Position Responsibilities:
Participate as an integral part of the Leadership Giving program, with responsibilities including:
- Assist with the event administrative preparation to include creating and printing nametags; pulling/updating RSVP lists; maintaining/updating ticket trackers; and assist as-needed with preparing, packing and shipping materials for events.
- Assist with the design and production of promotional and stewardship materials for donor correspondence for local and national dinner
- Assist with donor stewardship activities, including thank you letters and acknowledgement tracking
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned and needed
Position Qualifications:

One to three years of successful administrative or program support is required.

Exemplary time management skills and the ability to prioritize urgent items.

Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment.

Meticulous attention to detail is required.

Works well in a team and collaborative environment.

Must have a professional and responsible manner.

Experience and comfort with Microsoft Office Apps and Google Drive Suite, with a particular emphasis on spreadsheets.

Personal interest in and commitment to LGBTQ+ rights is required.
All positions at the Human Rights Campaign and/or the Human Rights Campaign Foundation may require travel on a regular basis or periodically. Where the need arises for business travel, appropriate compensation as outlined by the Fair Labor Standards Act will apply.
