Job Description
Summary: Home Instead is a company dedicated to transforming the lives of seniors through compassionate care. The HR Assistant will play a vital role in supporting HR operations, driving efficiency, and assisting with the hiring and onboarding processes for Care Staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily tasks relating to administration processes
- Ensure HR processes are completed swiftly and diligently as per process guidelines
- Assist with and direct incoming phone calls during business hours
- Lead hiring, training, and managing Care Staff
- Execute onboarding Progress from offer through to new employee orientation for Care Staff
- Assist in managing Care Staff applications
- Participate in the setup and execution of the annual trainings for Care Staff
- Ensure all company software and data systems are kept up to date with latest information
- Process Care Staff inquiries and process completeness
- Analyzing data sets for trends and insights, tracking key performance metrics, and providing actionable recommendations to drive data-driven decisions
- Assist in reporting processes, focusing on HR Metrics (weekly/monthly/Annual)
- Assist and participate in admin team meetings
- Assist with any special projects as assigned
- Manage and organize files, ensuring all documents are accurately maintained and easily accessible
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Perform general administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
Required Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office [Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams] and ability to quickly learn new software
- Drive collaboration to achieve successful outcome for our clients and care staff
