The role involves applying Business Unit (BU) quality strategies, standards, and processes throughout the project lifecycle to enhance product quality, ensure compliance, and optimize customer satisfaction. It includes driving quality assurance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting cross-functional R&D teams in embedding quality requirements into design, development, and execution. The position plays a critical role in strengthening the Quality Management System (QMS), improving reliability, reducing cost of poor quality, and ensuring adherence to both internal and external regulatory standards.
How you’ll make an impact

Guide and monitor R&D and cross-functional teams in applying quality standards from project initiation through implementation.
Ensure quality objectives are clearly defined, integrated into project plans, and effectively executed.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address quality requirements and enhance team capabilities.
Support teams in collecting and analyzing quality data (e.g., T-NPS, NCR, ETQ, Lessons Learned) to improve customer satisfaction and product quality.
Ensure proper identification, translation, and verification of customer requirements into measurable quality criteria.
Apply and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Support audits, manage non-conformities, and drive corrective actions to improve quality performance.
Implement quality assurance processes aligned with company regulations, industrial standards, and external requirements.
Ensure effective execution of the Gate Model and track quality requirements across all project stages.
Identify and mitigate product quality risks using tools such as FMEA, CoPQ analysis, reliability reviews, and lessons learned.
Oversee quality activities including design control, change management, verification & validation, PPAP, and control plans.
Define and implement quality controls to ensure products and systems meet all applicable standards and customer expectations.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving activities for quality issues arising post design freeze or through change requests.
Ensure data-driven corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence and improve product reliability.
Monitor project quality performance and capture lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
Share best practices and collaborate with BU R&D Quality teams and Technology Centers to enhance overall quality processes.
Identify improvement areas and contribute to Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) to close gaps and enhance execution efficiency.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
