Responsibilities

• Circulate cases across multiple procedures and specialties (General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, Gynecology)
• Maintain sterile technique, assist surgeons and team, and anticipate intraoperative needs
• Manage OR turnover and room cleaning between cases; assist with patient transport as needed
• Coordinate case scheduling and equipment utilization; use Meditech and Pyxis as part of perioperative workflow
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating staff to ensure patient safety and efficiency

Requirements

• Active State of Hawaii Registered Nurse license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• 2–3 years minimum circulating case experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to scrub cases is preferred
• Willingness to participate in call coverage; must reside within 30-minute radius of the assignment location
