Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job

Overview Registered Nurse, Med Surg, Ukiah, California. Travel - temporary assignment starting 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks. 36 hours per week on a 3x12-hour day shift with weekend rotation in a short-term acute care setting. Weekly pay range: $1,401-$1,533. This assignment does not guarantee minimum hours. Nursing care is provided in a general medical/surgical unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to adult Med Surg patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments, plan and implement care, and evaluate patient responses
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects; manage IVs and therapeutic devices
• Monitor vital signs and clinical status; recognize and escalate changes in condition promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff; participate in rounds and discharge planning
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and timely
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and patient and family education related to diagnoses and care plans

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS certification required
• 36 hours per week on a 3x12-hour day shift with weekend rotation
• Med Surg nursing experience preferred
• Graduation from an accredited RN program
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Med Surg environment and to adapt to a travel assignment
