Overview Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (Travel) – Ultrasound – Pocatello, Idaho, United States. Travel assignment starting 06/08/2026 for an imaging unit in a hospital setting. Schedule consists of 5x8-hour day shifts. Weekly pay ranges from $1,792 to $1,823 per week. Guaranteed hours are not offered for this assignment. Local candidates are not accepted due to a 100-mile radius rule. The role focuses on adult vascular imaging with a dedicated ultrasound team.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound studies, including arterial, venous, carotid, and dialysis graft assessments
- Conduct duplex and Doppler examinations with color flow imaging; document findings for interpretation
- Evaluate the aorta, renal arteries, and perform arterial mapping as indicated
- Assess upper and lower extremity arterial and venous systems, including grafts and stents
- Prepare studies for interpretation and enter results in the Epic charting system; coordinate with interpreting physicians
- Maintain patient safety, proper positioning, and equipment readiness; operate GE, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite devices and manage PACS workflow
Requirements
- RVT credentialing required for vascular ultrasound
- BLS certification
- Active Idaho (state or compact) license in hand at time of submittal
- 3 years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome
- CCI RVS or RDCS; RVT / ARDMS RVT credentials accepted
- Proficient in arterial, venous, carotid, graft studies; duplex and Doppler with color flow
- Familiarity with GE, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite equipment; PACS experience; Epic charting
- Ability to work in an adult vascular imaging setting on a 5x8-hour day shift
