Job Description
Summary: HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self-motivated HVAC Test Engineer to join its team in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity. The role involves working with lab personnel and suppliers to ensure successful completion of test plans and equipment builds, coordinating testing processes, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Work with lab personnel and suppliers to ensure successful completion of test plans and ECS unit builds
- Procure parts and equipment required for units builds
- Submit necessary work orders to build & modify units at Client model shop
- Prioritize completion of Work orders
- Create test plan for units to be tested
- Coordinate with all necessary departments for testing units in field (Digital, software, hardware etc)
- Test units in psychometric room to ensure no installation issues
- Identify Client's Factory authorized distributors/dealers across the United States for installation
- Roll out NDA’s, train the distributor & dealerships for installation of the equipment
- Obtain necessary permits to install units in the field in various states
- Present Field trial readiness plan to Client stakeholders to get necessary approvals
- Ensure all objectives of the field trial are met
- Troubleshoot HVAC equipment
- Identify the issues & report the root cause & corrective actions
- Any other work that would be beneficial for the team & Client
- Update, develop and implement standard work practices for overall field trial process
- Accurately report and act on any risk identified or notified
- Provide weekly to daily progress reports – depends on progress, risks, needs, etc. associated to the project (field units installation)
- Provide weekly data analysis reports and findings
Required Qualifications:
