About the Role
This Summer Intern role will support the Professional Services FP&A team for several months during the summer, helping the team with financial planning, reporting, and business analysis activities. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics while partnering with finance professionals to support decision-making and improve business visibility.
This internship is designed for a student or early-career candidate who is eager to build foundational FP&A skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role offers exposure to financial processes, cross-functional teamwork, and real-world business insights within the Professional Services organization.
What You Will Do
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting activities for the Professional Services FP&A team
Support variance analysis by comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior period performance
Help prepare recurring dashboards, reports, and presentations for finance and business stakeholders
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improved performance
Partner with team members on ad hoc analyses, planning models, and process improvement initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather data and support ongoing business reviews
What You Need to Be Successful
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
Strong interest in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or business performance management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data, formulas, and spreadsheets
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Bonus Points if You Have
Prior internship, coursework, or project experience related to finance, accounting, or business analysis
Experience using PowerPoint or data visualization tools to present insights clearly
Curiosity, initiative, and enthusiasm for learning in a professional finance environment
What Makes You Eligible
Must be available to work full-time or near full-time for the duration of the summer internship
Must be authorized to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship requirements, if applicable
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and participate in an on-site in our Northridge offices, hybrid, or remote schedule as required by the team
Successfully complete background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work
Must provide proper work authorization
Must provide work availability from 12 weeks between May 2026 – Aug 2026 and be able to work 40 hours per week
