Job Description
Summary: HAPO Community Credit Union is an organization committed to providing exceptional service to its members and giving back to the community. They are seeking a Facilities Engineer responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance tasks on building systems, as well as coordinating facility renovation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on facilities, grounds, and building systems, including interior and exterior components, lighting, signage, and equipment
- Repair basic level issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, doors, locks, HVAC components, and general building infrastructure
- Assists with more complex work under direction
- Support snow removal operations, emergency maintenance responses, and janitorial issues as needed
- Work with Branch personnel to perform inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, or code compliance issues
- Assist with facility improvement, renovation, or modernization projects
- Ability to work with third-party contractors or vendors for assigned maintenance or repair tasks
- Operate company-provided vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly
- Assist with the setup and teardown of onsite and offsite events, including evening or weekend work as required
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate
- Must have valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain a driving record that meets HAPO's Corporate Vehicle Policy Standards as a required job function
