Job Description
Summary: HANSONS is a leading home improvement company hiring motivated Outside Sales Representatives to meet with homeowners through company-provided, pre-qualified appointments. The role involves conducting in-home sales consultations for various home improvement solutions, delivering consultative sales presentations, and closing high-ticket deals with a focus on exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Run 1–2 in-home sales appointments daily within an 80–100 mile radius of Cedar Rapids, IA
- Meet with homeowners to present roofing, windows, siding, gutters, bath remodeling, and other exterior home improvement solutions
- Deliver consultative, relationship-driven sales presentations
- Use AI visualization tools to help customers envision project outcomes
- Measure projects and provide customized pricing solutions
- Present financing options with same-day approvals
- Close sales and create an exceptional customer experience from start to finish
Required Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience preferred, especially in-home or commission-based sales
- Strong closing, negotiation, and communication skills
- Confidence presenting to homeowners in a one-on-one setting
- Competitive, self-driven mindset with a desire to maximize income
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
- Entrepreneurial attitude with a strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally to customer appointments
- An iPad is required for conducting sales presentations and managing customer information
- Ability to enter and navigate residential properties with varying layouts, stairs, and environmental conditions
- Ability to lift and carry sales materials or product samples weighing up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
