Job Description Summary
The Early Career Program Operations, Data Management and Projects Lead is a critical operational role within GE Vernova’s Early Career Talent Center of Excellence (COE).
This role is responsible for ensuring early career programs are executed with consistency, discipline, and measurable impact across regions. Sitting at the intersection of program delivery, data, and operations, this leader connects strategy to execution—translating program goals into clear operating rhythms, actionable insights, and scalable processes.
Partnering closely with Program Managers, HR, recruiting teams, and Digital Technology, this role brings structure to how programs run end-to-end—ensuring alignment, data integrity, and a high-quality experience for both participants and the business.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Program Operations & Governance
Establish and maintain consistent ways of working across early career programs, ensuring alignment across internships, development programs, and accelerator programs
Partner with Program Managers to define and sustain standard work across the program lifecycle (e.g., onboarding, assignments, transitions)
Lead core operating rhythms (planning cycles, tracking mechanisms, reporting cadences) to enable visibility and accountability across regions
Drive end-to-end program flow—ensuring processes are simple, scalable, and executed consistently
Identify operational gaps and implement practical solutions that improve efficiency and participant experience
Data Insights & Analytics
Partner with Program Managers to define and operationalize a focused set of program performance metrics and KPIs
Design, build, and maintain clear, decision-oriented dashboards to support business and program leadership
Translate data into actionable insights, highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement
Use data to inform decisions on program effectiveness, hiring outcomes, and participant experience
Systems & Data Management
Serve as the functional lead for early career program systems, including Workday Development Program tools, ensuring strong data integrity and system usability
Act as a key liaison across Digital Technology, HR Operations, and program teams to improve system performance and integration
Simplify how systems are used—reducing manual work, inconsistencies, and duplication
Ensure accurate and reliable data flows across recruiting, onboarding, and program management processes
Project Management
Lead execution of early career initiatives and projects, from initial scoping through implementation and measurement
Align stakeholders, define clear deliverables, and drive accountability to ensure timely outcomes
Manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
Support change adoption by ensuring new processes and tools are implemented effectively
Continuous Improvement (Lean)
Identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes across the early career ecosystem
Lead targeted improvement efforts (including Lean/Kaizen where appropriate) to eliminate inefficiencies
Partner with stakeholders to move from short-term fixes to sustainable, scalable solutions
Ensure improvements are embedded into ongoing ways of working
Stakeholder Coordination & Enablement
Act as a central connector across Program Managers, recruiting teams, HR partners, and business stakeholders
Provide clarity on roles, processes, and expectations across a highly matrixed environment
Support program leaders with the tools, data, and structure needed to run programs effectively
Build strong, trust-based relationships to enable progress without direct authority
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in HR operations, program management, operations, or a data-related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills)
Strong analytical capability with the ability to synthesize data and articulate clear implications
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a matrixed environment
Demonstrated experience managing projects and improving processes (Lean or similar methodologies preferred)
Experience in a global, matrixed industrial or technology organization
Familiarity with HR systems and tools, particularly Workday

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $122,400.00 and $203,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
