Who we’re looking for:
The Regional Medical Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations of the medication services across multiple behavioral health clinics, ensuring consistent workflows, strong referral relationships, and a high‑quality client and provider experience. This role provides leadership, coaching, and operational oversight, with a focus on access, revenue‑impacting processes, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures. Please note, hours may vary based on clinic operational needs, and the successful candidate will be located in NJ, PA, or NY.
Compensation range: $60-70k, this salary range reflects base compensation, which is not inclusive of potential bonuses, benefits, and other company perks. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage pharmacy communications, prior authorizations, and medication-related client concerns.
- Oversee after-hours call workflows, ensuring timely response and escalation.
- Maintain and optimize provider schedules to align with patient needs, productivity, and billing requirements.
- Participate in medical team rounds and implement operational changes based on audits, regulatory updates, and workflow improvements.
- Conduct client outreach and manage discharges in accordance with organizational policy.
- Resolve billing and documentation issues to support timely and accurate claim submission.
- Lead staff training, coaching, and performance management to ensure consistent workflows and service standards.
- Oversee issue resolution and documentation for client, staff, and referral source concerns related to medication services.
- Monitor compliance with state and regulatory requirements, census accuracy, and adherence to care and engagement policies.
- Review operational metrics and reports to ensure policy adherence and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
- 3+ years’ experience as an Office/Practice Manager in a healthcare environment
- 2+ years’ experience overseeing multiples sites/facilities
- Experience with verification of Insurance Benefits
- Knowledge of Substance Use Disorder, Mental Health, and Medication Management
