Business Strategy & Planning Specialist

Summary: FNS, Inc. is focused on providing total logistics services and aims to become one of the nation’s top logistics companies by 2025. The Business Strategy & Planning Specialist will lead strategic planning and business development efforts, build financial models, and coordinate cross-functional communication to support operational improvements and project management. Responsibilities: - Lead mid/long-term business planning (2025–2027) for LGES related logistics operations - Develop execution plans across multiple sites (Phoenix, Chicago, Canada, etc.) - Identify and evaluate new business opportunities (yard expansion, shuttle operations, forwarding, etc.) - Support business unit strategy initiatives - Build and maintain financial models (Revenue, OPEX, CAPEX, EBIT, CF ROI) - Support monthly/quarterly business performance reviews (MBR, CEO reporting) - Coordinate cross-functional communication with Ops, Finance, Engineering, and external vendors - Support implementation of new operational processes and system improvements - Coordinate key projects (yard setup, equipment investment, process redesign, etc.) - Track progress against timelines, budget, and KPIs - Drive execution with strong ownership and accountability Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field - 0-3 years of experience in strategy, FP&A, or logistics operations - Strong financial modeling skills (Excel-based, scenario analysis, ROI understanding) - Experience working in cross-functional and fast-paced environments Required Skills: Financial modeling, Scenario analysis, Return on investment (ROI), Business planning, Performance management, Logistics operations, Project management Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision PPO Insurance, Life, STD, LTD Insurance, 401(K) Plan, Paid Time Off, Additional Paid time off (Bereavement, Wedding, Birth of a Child, etc.), Years of Service Awards, Education Assistant Program (Based on Eligibility)
