Job Description
Summary: FirstService Residential transforms the property management landscape by providing professional association management services. The Seasonal Water Park Attendant will be responsible for monitoring the water park facilities, ensuring safety and adherence to rules, and providing customer service to residents and their guests.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the use of each facility, ensuring adherence to all posted rules and regulations
- Be visible and accessible for residents, guests, and facility users who have questions or concerns regarding the use of the facility
- Conduct daily visual inspection of the facility to ensure that it can be safely used by residents, guests, and permitted users
- Provide regular reports via Trello, email or hard copy with detailed information on attendance, facility use, or recorded incidents
- Operates the Water Park attendant booth, controlling access into the water park gates
- Assist with preparing reservable spaces including picnic shelters and cabanas for residents
- Working with the pool attendants, monitors the safe use of the Water Park facility, ensuring that posted rules are followed by all users at all times
- Ensures that the guest policy is adhered to
- Immediately reports any safety, maintenance, or other issues to the Aquatics and Recreation Manager
- Operates the Water Park snack bar, including the use of a POS system for making sales
Required Qualifications:

- Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard
- Must be able to both sit for long periods of time at a desk and be actively mobile to walk all outdoor facilities
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in this position
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds, as needed
- Must be literate and articulate in written form in order to prepare correspondence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Must be able to work on a computer and enter information into spreadsheets and prepare correspondence both textually and graphically
- Must be available after hours, including weekends as needed
- May be required to work overtime as needed and approved by supervisor
- Consistent and regular attendance required
- Valid California driver's license including state mandated vehicle insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in aquatics and recreation is preferred
- Completion of some college coursework is preferred
