Job Description
Summary: First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Teller to join the team at the Pearl City Branch that is robust with career growth and developmental opportunities. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, process financial transactions accurately, and maintain a thorough understanding of the bank's products and services.
Responsibilities:
- As the face of First Hawaiian Bank in our branches, you will provide exceptional customer service to our clients, process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services. You will have the opportunity to serve a diverse group of customers, from individuals opening their first checking account to seasoned investors managing their wealth
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of experience in cash handling
- One year of experience in customer service
- Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g., retail, mortgage/loans/deposits, and wholesale banking)
- Must be pleasant and tactful when interacting with customers
- Good oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information
- Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with the assistance of a calculator
- Possess sales skills to enhance business development opportunities
