Description
FEV North America, Inc., a global supplier of engineering services to the Transportation Industry, has an opening on 2nd shift for an experienced engine development Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities will include fabricating, setting up and conducting tests on advanced driveline development projects (transmissions, transfer cases, axles, EDUs)
- Preventive maintenance of FEV equipment
- Maintaining quality assurance procedures
Requirements
- Systems knowledge: PC based applications including Microsoft Office/ADAPT/Lab View
- Mechanical or Electrical experience required
- Fabrication experience a plus
- Transmission testing experience required
- Engine testing experience a plus
- High voltage (DC) experience a plus
- Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to succeed are essential
- Effective organizational skills and teamworking ability desired, excellent verbal and written communication skills
