Settlement Attorney

Summary: Ferraro Vega Employment Lawyers, Inc. is a plaintiff-side wage and hour class action law firm based in San Diego. They are seeking a highly skilled Settlement Attorney to take ownership of the settlement phase of cases, working independently with support from a dedicated paralegal. Responsibilities: - Drafting comprehensive class action and PAGA settlement agreements based on templates, shells, and first drafts prepared by settlement paralegal - Drafting and filing motions for preliminary and final approval - Managing the settlement lifecycle, including coordinating with opposing counsel and claims administrators and keeping clients updated - Assisting with virtual court appearances for approval hearings Required Qualifications: - 1+ years of relevant experience, including handling class action and/or PAGA settlements - Strong organizational skills - Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills Required Skills: Class action settlements, PAGA settlements, Legal writing, Analytical skills Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid sick time, Dental insurance
