Job Description
Summary: Forvia is a sustainable mobility technology leader focused on developing cutting-edge solutions for smart life on board and sustainable mobility. They are seeking a year-round Sales Intern to support the Sales and Program Management team, gaining exposure to EV market activities and customer interactions while assisting with various sales and program-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Gain exposure to cross‑functional teams, business challenges, senior leaders, and customers
- Build leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills through real project work
- Support sales activities
- Work with commercial and program teams to understand customer expectations and processes
- Learn core financial concepts such as cost drivers, inflation effects, and cost structures
- Contribute to propose and get validated the targeted pricing and the negotiation path / tactics to convince the customer
- Help Preparing and negotiating the commercial answers to the customer ECRs (“Engineering Changes Requests”)
- Detailed understanding of piece price, tooling and D&D impact
- Understanding and commercial management of local economics (inflation, exchange rate)
- Understanding and rigorous implementation of the Sales Administration guidelines & processes (purchase orders, invoices, terms of payment, overdues…)
- Commercial management for Spare Parts
- Serial program activities
- Review customer change requests and understand cost, tooling, and development impacts
- Contribute to cost‑saving ideas and continuous‑improvement projects
- Learn how economic factors influence commercial outcomes
- Support sales administration (POs, invoices, overdue tracking) and spare‑parts pricing
- Coordinate prototype builds, order materials, track timing and deliveries
- Learn internal cost structures, support quote preparation, and assist with profitability reviews and related documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Strong Microsoft pack office skills (excel, word, powerpoint,…) and reporting skills
- Comfortable with financials
- Good communication and presentation skills, and capacity of empathy
- Business international mindset
- Results orientation, Client orientation, and Team player
- Good analytical skills and Accountability
- Business, technical, or data major
- Minimum 2.8 GPA
