Litigation Associate - Employment Attorney

Summary: Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP is a national law firm focused on complex civil litigation. The Firm is seeking an attorney with experience to join the Employment Practice Group, where the attorney will litigate wage-and-hour class actions and discrimination claims, manage discovery, and engage in motion practice. Responsibilities: - Litigate wage-and-hour class and collective actions - Litigate discrimination/retaliation claims - Manage discovery - Conduct and defend depositions - Engage in motion practice - Mediate and settle cases Required Qualifications: - At least one (1) year of experience in employment litigation - Ability to litigate wage-and-hour class and collective actions - Ability to litigate discrimination/retaliation claims - Experience managing discovery - Experience conducting and defending depositions - Experience engaging in motion practice - Experience mediating and settling cases - Strong research and writing skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience litigating wage-and-hour cases Required Skills: Litigation experience, Wage-, hour cases Important Skills: Research skills, Writing skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Discovery management, Deposition skills, Motion practice, Mediation skills
