Job Description
Summary: Exploria Resorts has been serving the vacation ownership and hospitality industry for over 25 years, and they are seeking a Field Marketing Agent to represent the company at local events. The role involves engaging with the public to promote vacation ownership presentations and encouraging potential guests to visit the resort by offering incentives.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and clients to boost resort preview sign-ups and ticket sales
- Persuade qualified prospects to attend a Vacation Ownership presentation by offering them incentives like discounted savings on local attractions/sites of interest
- Have the chance to work and travel to off-site events and pop-up locations according to business needs
- Ensures we meet our goals for production, sales and monthly budget targets
- Remains current on all area attractions, events, dining options, etc
- Stays up to date on all of our current incentives we offer guests
- Offers guest information about the site and surrounding area when requested
- Responsible for attending all staff meetings and training, as requested by management
- Performs accurate accounting and reporting of all shifts(s) details as directed by the manager
- Adhere to company standards and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures
- All other duties assigned by management
Required Qualifications:
- Have a charismatic and outgoing personality
- Ability to be assertive and handle objections
- Works well in a team environment and enjoys collaboration
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle customers in a face-to-face setting
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages and discounts
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers
- Able to use sound judgment; and work independently, with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous OPC experience is a plus
