Job Description
Summary: Evolent is a company that partners with health plans and providers to improve healthcare outcomes for individuals with complex health conditions. They are seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of implementations and external initiatives, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to support the company's strategy and growth.
Responsibilities:
- With minimal supervision, guide day-to-day activities for at least one strategic initiative or partner project
- Develop, monitor, and manage project work plan, deliverables, and activities
- Independently facilitate project meetings and effectively communicate project status
- Identify and manage dependencies and project impacts across business areas
- Proactively identify, monitor, document, and communicate project risks and issues
- Hold project team accountable to critical path timelines to ensure deadlines are met
- Work closely with program manager and partner collaboratively with project stakeholders across functional areas
- Craft communications by considering both the audience and situation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-2 years of health care management and/or consulting experience
- 1-2 years of project management experience
- Strong client management or customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Expert knowledge of MS Office products
- Previous health care knowledge, preferably in one of more of the following areas: provider systems, health plan operations, implementations, payer contracting, alternative payment models, delegated risk, or ACOs /CINs
- Working knowledge of AdaptiveWork (or other project management application), Confluence, JIRA
- PMP project management certification
