Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business stakeholders in the pharma commercial analytics to understand their data needs and translate them into clear and compelling Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
• Develop and maintain complex dashboards that effectively communicate data driven insights, market insights, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Utilize advanced Tableau features like calculations, sets, LOD expressions, and table calculations to manipulate and analyze complex pharmaceutical data.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by collaborating with data analysts and data engineers to source and clean data sets.
• Implement best practices for data visualization design principles to create user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and informative dashboards. • Perform ongoing maintenance and optimization of existing Tableau dashboards to ensure they remain up-to-date and meet evolving business needs.
• Document your work thoroughly, including data sources, calculations, and design considerations, for future reference and knowledge sharing. • Stay current with the latest advancements in Tableau and data visualization techniques through continuous learning and participation in training opportunities.
qualifications
• A passion for data visualization and a desire to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering) with strong experience in life sciences and claims data analytics.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Tableau developer + SQL developer experience.
• Proven ability to design and develop complex, interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, including color theory, chart selection, and visual hierarchy.
• Solid knowledge of SQL or similar querying languages for data extraction, manipulation, backend data model design.
• Experience working with pharmaceutical commercial data is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mind.
