Job Description
Summary: Eurofins Scientific is a global leader in analytical testing, and EAG Laboratories, part of Eurofins, offers advanced services in analytical chemistry and engineering sciences. The DPA Intern will support the Destructive Physical Analysis team with administrative and laboratory-based activities critical to electronics qualification and failure analysis programs.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting DPA administrative workflow (job intake, tracking, documentation, and records management)
- Updating job logs, travelers, and internal databases
- Assisting with sample handling, packing, shipping, and receiving
- Compiling and organizing technical reports and documentation
- Shadowing and supporting laboratory personnel during physical analysis and testing activities
- Gaining familiarity with DPA testing flows, terminology, and documentation requirements
- Learning and following laboratory procedures, safety practices, and quality standards
Required Qualifications:
- No prior DPA or failure analysis experience is required; training will be provided
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering
- Materials Science and Engineering
- Physics
- Or other related engineering or science-based degrees
- Interest in electronics, semiconductors, or technology-based industries
- Willingness to work in both office and laboratory settings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate, error-free work
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and apply instructions
- Organizational skills and comfort working with documentation and records
- Positive attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to learn
- Dependability, focus, and ability to work both independently and with a team
