Finance Intern - Summer 2027

Summary: Etched is building the world’s first AI inference system purpose-built for transformers, delivering over 10x higher performance and lower costs. They are seeking a Finance intern to tackle strategic financial challenges and assist with day-to-day finance operations, working closely with the executive team on financial models and accounting tasks. Responsibilities: - Drive financial models - Assist with purchase orders and accounts payable - Learn about key strategic issues across the organization - Gain hands-on experience across FP&A, accounting operations, vendor payments, and pricing/unit economics modeling Required Qualifications: - Previous internship experience in consulting, banking, or early startup environments - Understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping - Track record of excellent project management and data analysis skills - Willingness to do a broad set of finance, accounting, and operations work - Comfort with Excel/Sheets or basic financial modeling Preferred Qualifications: - Technical Curiosity: experience, education, or interest in computer science, electrical engineering, artificial Intelligence, or a related field - Industry interest: Deep curiosity about the AI ecosystem, including emerging trends, cutting-edge technologies, and industry innovations - Startup Acumen: Interest in startup finance (equity, cap tables, fundraising) Required Skills: Cash Flow Management, Bank Reconciliation, Bookkeeping, Financial Modeling, Excel, Google Sheets, Data Analysis, Project Management Internship Start Date: Start in 2027 Summer Benefits: 12-week paid internship, Generous housing support for those relocating, Daily lunch and dinner in our office, Direct mentorship from industry leaders and world-class engineers, Opportunity to work on one of the most important problems of our time
