Core Ops Intern - Fall 2026

Summary: Etched is building the world’s first AI inference system purpose-built for transformers, aiming to deliver significantly higher performance than traditional systems. The Core Ops Intern will support high-priority projects, assist in data analysis, and work cross-functionally with leadership to track and optimize organizational performance. Responsibilities: - Support the execution of high-priority, high-scope projects, ensuring measurable outcomes that align with the company’s objectives - Assist in preparing strategic insights and actionable recommendations to the leadership team through rigorous data analysis, identifying process gaps, and driving performance improvements across the business - Work cross-functionally between the executive team and departments across the organization to track progress and ensure timely, high-quality execution of key projects - Work with leadership to set and track key performance indicators, monitoring organizational performance and identifying opportunities for optimization Required Qualifications: - Progress in a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields - Previous internship experience in high-ownership, high-pressure roles within startup environments - Ability to support multiple concurrent high-impact projects from inception to completion - Skilled in driving alignment across teams, ensuring accountability, and delivering results - Comfort with ambiguity and working within a rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities - Ability to quickly synthesize information, create compelling presentations, and parse complex data Required Skills: Data analysis, Key performance indicators, support multiple concurrent projects, drive alignment across teams, deliver results, synthesize information, Comfort with ambiguity, create presentations Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Fall Benefits: Generous housing support for those relocating, Daily lunch and dinner in our office, Direct mentorship from industry leaders and world-class engineers, Based at our office in San Jose, CA
