We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner(Operations) to join our Hotels Finance team. In this role, you will provide critical commercial support, advice, and strategic leadership for our highly competitive network of 350+ Hotels. We are looking for a collaborative partner with strong financial modelling and data analysis skills. If you know how to cut through high volumes of data, present insights effectively, and confidently provide recommendations that improve business performance, we want to hear from you. Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role As a primary partner to our State Managers, Operations Managers, and Hotel Managers, you will develop the data-driven insights that back our commercial and operational decisions. Own and manage weekly/monthly performance reporting, clearly communicating key performance drivers. Deliver sharp analysis on Cost of Doing Business (CODB), labour, sales, and margin opportunities. Support the annual CODB budget and forecast preparation. Assess financial risks and opportunities, and provide clear recommendations for mitigating actions. Prepare Capital Expenditure business cases alongside our Commercial Finance teams and execute insightful post-implementation reviews. Drive the evolution of our Hotel reporting framework to align processes. Introduce innovative analysis and system efficiencies to improve how our team works. Act as a core link within the broader finance team to strengthen ways of working across Commercial, FP&A, and Management Accounting. qualifications Now let’s talk about you To thrive in this role, you should bring a healthy balance of technical expertise and top-tier business partnering capability: CA/CPA Qualification is essential. A minimum of 5 years of relevant commercial finance experience preferably in Retail or FMCG. Advanced financial systems experience in a commercial environment—specifically Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros), SAP, Tableau, TM1 Forecasting & Budgeting, and the Google reporting suite. Proven ability to synthesise large, complex datasets from multiple sources and make the complex simple for a broad audience. Strong presentation and storyboarding skills with a knack for building credibility and expressing viewpoints constructively. The benefits are good too!
