Job Description
Summary: Elkhart County Government is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join their Clerk department. The role involves processing and recording data, answering telephone calls, greeting clients, and performing various clerical duties.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing and recording data
- Answering telephone
- Greeting clients
- Locating case file information
- Performing various other clerical duties
Required Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, a resident of Elkhart County and a Registered Voter
- Ability to work alone or in a team environment
- Excellent organizational, communication skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures and practices
- Pre-employment background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Eighteen months of clerical training preferred
- Bilingual a plus
