Position Summary
Eli Lilly’s Kenosha County (LKC) site is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Specialist to serve as the local nexus for project management, continuous improvement, SAP subject-matterexpertise, OSSCE coordination, and Power BI analytics stewardship. This role will drive operational excellence across warehouse and supply chain functions by translating strategicobjectivesinto actionable projects, building sustainable data-driven decision frameworks, and serving as the go-to knowledge center for SAP WarehouseManagement (WM Classic) and related systems.
The ideal candidate blends hands-on supply chain knowledge with strong project leadership skills, a passion for process optimization, and the technical aptitude to support and develop enterprise systems and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibility Areas
1. Project Management
Lead and manage supply chain projects end-to-end, including scope definition, timeline development, resource coordination, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
Own the LKC supply chain project portfolio andmaintainaconsolidatedtracker for active initiatives (e.g., cold storage expansion, new product introductions, system upgrades).
Develop project charters, RACI matrices, and status reporting cadences aligned with site leadership team (SLT) expectations.
Coordinate cross-functional workstreams with Quality, EHS, Engineering, Procurement, and IT to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Facilitate stage-gate reviews and change control processes forGxP-impacted project deliverables.
2. Continuous Improvement
Champion a culture of continuous improvement within LKC supply chain operations using Lean, Six Sigma, and Lilly Performance System (LPS) methodologies.
Identify, scope, and lead Kaizen events, A3 problem-solving efforts, and value stream mapping exercises targeting warehouse throughput, cycle time, inventory accuracy, and compliance metrics.
Develop andmaintaina CI pipeline/funnel that prioritizes improvement opportunities by impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
Track and report CI project benefits (cost avoidance, efficiency gains, error reduction) with quantified business impact.
Partner with site CI leads and the broader Lilly network to benchmark best practices and share learnings.
3. Local SAP SME / Knowledge Center
Serve as the LKC site subject-matter expert for SAP Warehouse Management (WM Classic), including storage types, bins, transfer orders, movement types, and inventory management transactions.
Act as the primary liaison between LKC operations and Lilly’s global IT/SAPCoEfor system enhancements, break-fix support, and configuration changes.
Develop andmaintaina local SAP knowledge base (SOPs, quick-reference guides, training materials, decision trees) to ensure operational continuity and reduce single-point-of-failure risk.
Lead SAP-related training for new hires and cross-functional partners, including refresher sessions and scenario-based simulations.
Support master data governance activities (material master, storage location, MRP parameters) andvalidatedata integrity through periodic audits.
Participate in SAP upgrade testing, regression testing, and go-live support for system changesimpactingLKC.
4. OSSCE Coordination
Serve as the LKC supply chain OSSCE (Operational Standards for Supply Chain Excellence) coordinator, ensuring local adherence to network-level standards and expectations.
Conduct periodic self-assessments and readiness reviews against OSSCE criteria and track gap closure plans to completion.
Represent LKC in OSSCE network forums and working groups, sharing site-levelinsightsand adopting enterprise best practices.
Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external assessments related to supply chain operational standards.
5. Power BI Steward
Own and govern the LKC supplychainPower BI workspace, including report development, data model integrity, refresh schedules, and access management.
Design, build, andmaintainoperational dashboards covering key supply chain KPIs: inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, cycle time, storageutilization, batch adherence, and supplier performance.
Partner with site leadership to translate business questions into data visualizations that drive action and accountability.
Establish data quality standards for Power BI inputs and coordinate with upstream data owners (SAP, SCADA/BMS, LIMS) to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Train and mentor end users on self-service reporting capabilities and dashboard interpretation.
Stay current with Power BI platform updates and Lilly enterprise analytics standards to ensure alignment and scalability.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
Must be available as needed outside of core working hours as needed to support production issues
Knowledge of SAP ERP system, including MRP methodologies
Experience in the following: GMP guidelines, procurement, purchasing, planning and capacity planning
2+ years’ experience in Supply Chain preferred
Experience with SAP ECC and EWM systems.
GMP knowledge and experience.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, EPA) and quality standards.
Strong communication and collaboration skills working inclusively with other functions and teams.
Self-directed, pro-active, and able to work through ambiguity and drive solutions in a startup environment.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$58,500 - $137,500
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
