Power System Engineer Intern - Summer

Summary: Electric Power Engineers, LLC (EPE) is focused on designing the Grid of the future and has partnered with power and energy clients for over 50 years. They are seeking a Power Systems Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy solutions and assist with various engineering projects. Responsibilities: - Perform projects/tasks such as network-wide steady-state and short-circuit studies - Contribute to process improvement efforts, including development of Python scripts Required Qualifications: - Completion of, or current enrollment in, a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree program with a major in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university - Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher Preferred Qualifications: - Completion of, or current enrollment in, power systems fundamentals class(es) (strongly preferred) Required Skills: Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Fundamentals Important Skills: Python
