Job Description
Summary: Edge Delta is a growing company seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join their go-to-market team. The role involves developing sales practices, researching prospective customers, and collaborating with leadership to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Account Executives and leadership to develop, implement, and refine sales best practices
- Research prospective customers, target accounts, industries, and key stakeholders
- Identify and document ideal customer profiles (ICP), purchase intent, current technology stacks, and business needs
- Analyze outreach performance (e.g., response rates, messaging effectiveness, trends) and share insights with leadership
- Evaluate and recommend sales tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Create and deliver presentations that clearly communicate Edge Delta’s value proposition
- Collaborate with leadership to support training and onboarding initiatives
- Build credibility and trust with both internal teams and external prospects
- Demonstrate adaptability, resourcefulness, and proactive problem-solving
- Represent Edge Delta at industry and technology conferences
- Develop a strong understanding of Edge Delta’s product platform and use cases
- Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM
- Consistently meet and exceed daily activity goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
Required Qualifications:
- Based in Seattle and able to work in-office Monday through Friday
- Experienced in high-pressure, competitive environments (sales, athletics, service industry, or similar)
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment and exercising independent judgment
- Passionate about technology and continuous learning
- Detail-oriented, curious, and analytical, with a desire to improve how things are done
- Confident asking questions, gathering information, and connecting business problems to solutions
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time and priorities effectively
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Growth-minded: you embrace challenges, seek feedback, learn from mistakes, and strive to improve every day
