Job Description
Summary: East Coast Warehouse & Distribution is seeking a Customer Service Representative to service customers via phone and email. The role involves responding to inquiries, tracking freight, resolving customer issues, and navigating systems for problem solving.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customers inquiries via phone and email
- Track and trace freight at different customers and locations
- Invoicing
- Resolve customer issues by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
- Work with various steamship lines and/or freight customers release dates
- Navigate through systems for problem solving
Required Qualifications:
- Servicing customers via phone and emails to provide most current information and problem solving
- Respond to customers inquiries via phone and email
- Track and trace freight at different customers and locations
- Invoicing
- Resolve customer issues by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
- Work with various steamship lines and/or freight customers release dates
- Navigate through systems for problem solving
