As a Director of Transformation for a fast‑growing HVLP fitness brand, we’re scaling rapidly across multiple markets and building a finance function that can keep pace with our expansion. The Director of Transformation is a key leadership role responsible for strengthening our accounting infrastructure, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting the VP of Accounting in building a public‑company‑ready environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high‑growth, multi‑unit environment and brings the discipline of public company experience to a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.

Core Purpose: To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, revenue recognition, and month‑end close.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Support consolidation of multi‑entity financials and intercompany activity.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for executive leadership and investors.
Lead initiatives to streamline and automate accounting workflows as the company scales from dozens to hundreds of locations.
Drive system implementations and upgrades, ensuring strong integration between operational and financial systems.
Develop and document accounting policies and procedures that support rapid growth and operational consistency.
Maintain and enhance internal controls across AP, AR, GL, and financial reporting.
Support SOX readiness and implementation efforts.
Assist with annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
Collaborate with Operations, Real Estate, Talent, and FP&A to ensure financial accuracy and operational alignment.
Provide training and guidance to accounting staff and operational leaders.
Supervise and mentor accounting team members, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Support hiring, onboarding, and development as the team expands.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA‑track strongly preferred.
Public company experience required — ideally with exposure to multi‑unit retail, hospitality, or fitness.
4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
Experience with system implementations (In Particular Oracle), ERP upgrades, or financial systems integration preferred.
SOX experience preferred, including documentation, testing, or readiness work.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Location & Work Environment
Hybrid, with the ability to support teams across multiple states and time zones
Occasional travel to field locations as needed
