Payroll Clerk

Summary: Dynalectric is a full-scale electrical contracting company providing comprehensive services in various sectors. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining records, and assisting with HR projects while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Responsibilities: - Collect time records submitted via various means and accurately enter the data into the payroll processing system within established deadlines - Process payroll related documentation relating to new employees, terminations and transfers - Assist with new hire onboarding process (off-site) - Maintain spreadsheets and track various payroll data - Maintain and organize various filing systems - Prepare payroll records for off-site storage - Assist with copying, filing and other administrative payroll projects - Assist with HR projects and assignments as needed Required Qualifications: - Minimum one year experience of payroll entry, calculation and submissions - Experience with employee onboarding process - Proficiency with Excel and MS Word - Ability to exercise a high degree of confidentiality while maintaining various employment records and other sensitive information - Strong interpersonal skills - Attention to detail - Exceptional organizational skills - Problem-solving and investigative skills - Ability to work quickly without sacrificing work quality - Excellent time management skills to meet established deadlines - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with ViewPoint payroll system - Bi-lingual (i.e. Spanish) Required Skills: Payroll processing, Excel proficiency Important Skills: Employee onboarding, MS Word proficiency Nice-to-Have Skills: Bilingual (Spanish) Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package
