Civil Engineer

Summary: Dieffenbauch & Hritz (D&H) is a consulting firm actively hiring for a Civil Engineer to join their team. The role involves assisting in the development of engineering plan sets, construction specifications, and collaborating with a design team to meet project goals. Responsibilities: - Assist in development of engineering plan sets - Assist in developing construction specifications, quantities and cost estimates - Attend and actively participate in project meetings - Work collaboratively as part of a design team to meet the client's scope, budget and schedule - Perform various engineering calculations and draft reports - Willingness to learn new design software as needed Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related fields - Up to 2 years experience in civil engineering design - Experience using design software such as: AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation/InRoads, HydroCAD, TR-55, TR-20, HEC and other applicable design software commonly used - Ability to Commute: Morgantown, WV 26501 (Required) Preferred Qualifications: - Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred - Bachelor's (Preferred) - Civil engineering: 1 year (Preferred) Required Skills: Civil engineering degree, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation/InRoads Important Skills: HydroCAD, Engineer in Training (EIT) Benefits: Paid time off accrued throughout the year., Paid holidays, Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, Employer matching retirement, Company paid life insurance, Company paid short and long term disability insurance, Flexible schedule, Health savings account
