Job Description
Summary: Dewberry is a leading professional services firm seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 in their Rancho Cordova office. The role involves supporting Project Engineers and Project Managers with tasks related to water, wastewater, and storm drainage projects, while also providing opportunities for hands-on project experience and professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Support Project Engineers and Project Managers with various tasks associated with water/wastewater/storm drainage facilities
- Prepare drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Compile and draft exhibits for technical memoranda
- Perform quantity calculations
- Maintain project files and databases
- Research products, suppliers, manufacturers
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering or similar discipline
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
