Job Description
Summary: Dewberry is a leading professional services firm seeking a Water Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to join their Parsippany, NJ office. The intern will work on various projects related to water and wastewater for commercial and government clients, gaining hands-on experience and developing technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with drainage design calculations for roadway storm sewer systems
- Hydrologic and/or hydraulic analyses for bridges, culverts and waterways
- Preparation of plans
- Preparation of design reports and permit applications
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering required
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft office is required
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship experience preferred
