In this role, you will design, build, and operate modern, scalable, and secure DevOps platforms and processes, with a strong focus on Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code. You will play a key role across the full development lifecycle—from architectural design to deployment and operations—helping teams deliver reliable, high-quality software at scale. Project Description: Our project, GroundOS, is not just another screen manager. It is a next-generation Universal Display System (UDS) built to power the future of global mobility. We are building an "Operating System for Reality" that orchestrates massive, data-driven signage networks across critical infrastructure, from major international airports to sprawling public transport systems. GroundOS moves beyond static displays; it uses a state-of-the-art digital twin to process and react to real-time operational data. To guarantee continuous operation, the platform features a resilient, offline-first edge architecture that ensures screens keep running smoothly even if the network fails. Tasks Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure Operate and improve Kubernetes environments, including maintenance, monitoring, and performance Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code to enable consistent and automated deployments Manage application deployment processes and templates Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including reusable components across projects Configure and maintain cloud services Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams throughout the development lifecycle Support projects during development, testing, and release phases Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability and performance Contribute to deployment strategies and recovery planning Ensure infrastructure follows security and architectural standards qualifications Strong experience with one Hyperscaler Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes-Applications in production Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitLab CI or a comparable System Solid understanding of DevOps practices and the software delivery lifecycle Good skills in English (writing and speaking) Expert knowledge of agile development Solid knowledge of Scrum Experience working in agile projects and teams Excellent English skills, both written and spoken (B2–C1) Excellent technical and analytical skills, as well as problem-solving abilities Ability to handle stressful situations and work independently Advantages: Experience with Kubernetes RBAC, service accounts, and resource-based access control Knowledge of networking concepts in cloud and containerized environments Experience integrating services across cloud-native architectures German skills (writing and speaking) additionalInformation * Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.
