Office Services Clerk

Summary: Delta Dental of Illinois is the largest dental insurance company with over 50 years of experience dedicated to improving oral health. They are seeking an Office Services Clerk to handle dental paper claims, maintain data logs, and support the Receptionist, while promoting an inclusive and innovative company culture. Responsibilities: - Key and research dental paper claims that cannot be processed by OCR technology and requires manual entry within established department objectives - Maintain data entry logs and reports - Create and maintain overpayment letter process - Maintain, and properly dispose of, source documents according to department guidelines - Send pre-printed requests for additional information and reach out for clarification on a submitted encounter claim, when necessary - Share responsibility and act as the primary backup to the Receptionist Required Qualifications: - Strong data entry skills - Good oral communication skills - Projects a professional image, along with a friendly and polite personality - Well-developed organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize and remain productive in a self-directed work environment Preferred Qualifications: - Preferred experience with any of the following, but not required: insurance coding or data entry, MS Excel, reception desk and/or customer service Required Skills: Data entry skills Important Skills: Oral communication, Organizational skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Multi-tasking skills, Customer service, MS Excel, Insurance coding Benefits: Free dental for employees and their dependents, Competitive benefits: free vision, life, STD/LTD for employees/medical options for many budgets/401k and company match, Generous PTO program; 11 paid holidays per calendar year, Great people and culture, Healthy work/life balance, Conveniently located from I-88
