Industrial Engineer Intern

As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, contributing to efficiency and quality improvements in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities: - Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements that reduce waste and improve flow - Develop value stream maps for current and future states to support data-driven decision-making - Support process balancing and cell design to improve productivity and adapt to changing customer demand - Conduct time studies and process evaluations to enhance operator efficiency and workplace organization - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including 5S implementation, documentation, and quality compliance Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, or process improvement concepts - Ability to analyze data and solve problems in a structured and practical way - Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for analysis and reporting - Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Required Skills: Manufacturing Processes, Lean Principles, Process Improvement, Value Stream Mapping, Process Balancing, Cell Design, Time Studies, 5S Implementation, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint Benefits: Hands-on mentorship from experienced R&D engineers, Exposure to global Danfoss engineering projects and career pathways
