Founded in 2009 by David (D.S.) and Kavi (Durga) Moltz, the brand is known for its uniquely distinguished perfumes, candles, and aromatic products. All fragrances and design worlds are original compositions, rooted in specificity, surrealism, and clarity. With distribution across 600 doors globally and five freestanding stores in NYC and LA, the brand is entering a new phase of growth following Manzanita Capital’s majority investment in 2024.
ROLE OVERVIEW D.S. & Durga is looking for a dynamic part-time Department Store Representative that is focused, motivated and assertive to join our team as selling support throughout our locations in the London area. Ideal candidates are interested to grow with us into energetic representatives who are passionate about people, skincare and D.S. & Durga. This position will maximise sales goals, training, education, merchandising and new opportunities for long term advancement. Our Department Store Representative possess a sincere understanding and appreciation of the D.S. & Durga culture, strengths, and mission to build relationships and grow our business. You must be an independent, self-starter, dynamic, persuasive and articulate while focused on sales goals and results within our company parameters.

Sales
- Responsible for the day-to-day sales performance of the stores, the representative will proactively strive to reach the company sales goals and targets.
- The representative should have full awareness of store performance by tracking daily, weekly and monthly goals as well as personal KPIs including average spend and sign-up rate.
- Operating the Till System with speed and accuracy.
- Keeping abreast of the latest company launches and promotions/offers.
- Ability to create and recognise marketing and promotional opportunities to increase brand awareness and sales.
Customer Service
- Responding to the questions of customers by recommending an appropriate routine or product to meet their needs according to company product information and guidance.
- Effectively sampling the customer with other products to further build their regimen.
- Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to recognise and courteously adapt communication and sales approach to distinct personalities and accounts.
- Providing engaging product demonstrations and consultations for fragrance.
- Proactively builds a personal network of clients, fostering loyalty and building their personal regimen. Regularly maintaining communication with these clients through email and phone prospection.
- Developing new and creative strategies to obtain additional business from present and prospective customers.
- Productively schedule time and organise priorities.
Store Maintenance + Procedures
- Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours.
- Processing Sales and Transactions, operating the Till System with speed and accuracy.
- Adhering to company policies including returns, banking, inventory, and reporting.
- Maintaining an exemplary standard of cleanliness and merchandising within the store environment.
- Following company guidelines for product display and merchandising.
- Following company guidelines for personal grooming and dress.
- Proactively establish and maintain relationships with support depts. and external agencies.

- Retail sales experience is helpful but not required.
