Job Description
Summary: Cyera is a leading data security platform focused on reinventing how businesses secure their data in the cloud era. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to expand their user-base and qualify potential B2B sales prospects through various outreach methods. This role involves managing leads, initiating sales conversations, and exceeding activity targets while gaining in-depth knowledge of Cyera's offerings and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
- Use Salesforce and other sales tools, build lead lists, craft outbound messaging, and share results with the larger sales team
- Prospect into accounts within your territory and find leads to qualify for your Enterprise Sales counterpart
- Initiate sales conversations with key decision makers at target companies
- Manage inbound inquiries and lead management
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Cyera Data Security Platform, industry trends, and competition
- Strive to exceed targets for daily activities and monthly and quarterly pipeline goals
- Conduct high-level conversations with mid and senior-level executives in the security space
- Learn, get better, hit your numbers, and raise your game–every day
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Work out of Cyera’s office (NYC)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Communicate clearly and concisely, especially when it comes to complicated topics
- Results-oriented, metrics-driven track record
- Excited to build a long-term sales career
- Coachable and ready to learn concepts
- Strong organization and time management skills with excellent verbal and written skills
- Innovative, motivated, organized, high-energy team player with attention to detail
- Self-starter mentality, leveraging your creativity, insight, and intellect to get the job done
- You're an overachiever. You never quit, never take no for an answer, and ultimately succeed in everything you do!
- Ideally, experience as an SDR/BDR or inside sales professional in a B2B SaaS technology company
- Cloud/data security industry experience a plus
- Spanish fluency required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and SalesNavigator
- Portuguese fluency
