Job Summary: This role will establish effective and supportive partnerships with key internal stakeholders by consulting, designing and delivering relevant organisational learning and development initiatives. All eLearning programs are to build capability and competence that will contribute to a high performing and capable workforce.
The role will meet key eLearning requirements within the Learning & Development Program schedule by meeting business expectations, schedule timeframes, customer needs and expectations of Learning & Development.
All learning materials will be compliant with all relevant company policy, quality processes/standards and WHSE requirements.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
eLearning analysis, design & development, implementation and evaluation
Identify end-user learning needs using a variety of methods
Research, design, develop and pilot high quality contemporary and engaging learning material (manuals, flow charts, activities, hand-outs) to meet organisational, department and participant needs
Research, design, develop and pilot high quality engaging eLearning modules across a range of content areas
Follow the end to end Instructional Design process in the development of learning materials to meet BAU and project requirements
Apply adult learning principles to the design of learning programs and materials
Adopt Instructional Design and eLearning best practices in the design, development and delivery of learning programs and materials
Consult with Learning and Development Advisors and/or subject matter experts regarding concept design
Research specific learning areas, trends and activities and keep content up to date
Evaluate and maintain learning material to ensure currency, consistency and continual improvement
Ensure learning material developed is consistent with organisational and departmental standards
Implement recommended business changes to Learning Programs as required
Create and edit audio and video (including storyboarding and scripts) for use in eLearning
Engage with key stakeholders to propose learning solutions via storyboarding from concept through to final product
Liaise and manage relationships with internal program and services team members
Administration
Administration of ILT and eLearning modules within the Learning Management System (LMS)
Provide LMS support and guidance and create user documentation as required
Accurately input, maintain and report on learning functions in the LMS system including compliance programs
Ensure all learning documentation is recorded accurately and efficiently, kept up-to-date and complies with company policies and standards
Learning & Development Team
Foster and maintain effective working relationships with L&D team members
Identify areas for improvement with L&D processes that will enhance the efficiency of the L&D team
Ensure that the reputation of the L&D department is upheld by behaving in a professional manner at all times
General Duties and Responsibilities:

Local and interstate travel as required
Minimum Job Requirements:
Current Certificate IV Training and Assessment (essential)
Tertiary qualification in a training related field: adult education, human resources, psychology (desirable)
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
Essential:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an OD or L&D role in a commercial environment
Demonstrated ability to research learning needs
Demonstrated success in the design, development, delivery and piloting of learning in response to identified learning needs and specifications, appropriately utilising the range of best practice learning techniques
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the capacity to develop and maintain a rapport with all stakeholders
Aptitude to quickly understand and apply new learning areas within a short space of time and think on your feet
High level skills in Microsoft Office products, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
High level of proficiency in Articulate Storyline 2 and Adobe Captivate
Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
Visual design skills using software applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator
Demonstrated ability to evaluate learning
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Aptitude and experience designing technical systems-based learning programs
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic environment
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
Desirable:
Knowledge and experience in SharePoint
Knowledge and experience in Workday Learning
Video and audio editing experience
Knowledge and experience working in the transportation and electronic ticketing systems technology
Experience working with Government agencies
Experience applying the AQF standards and RTO requirements
