Job Description
Summary: Crayon is a company focused on competitive enablement, providing organizations with insights to excel in competitive markets. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to build brand awareness and collaborate with sales teams to drive customer engagement and pipeline growth.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely and collaboratively with Sales Executives to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
- Prospect new customers via calls, emails, social and other creative channels
- Schedule discovery meetings for Sales Executives to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership with Crayon
- Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
- Set yourself up for a successful career by learning the necessary fundamentals to be a great salesperson, leader, and executive
Required Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in sales or a strong desire to start a sales career
- Emotional intelligence and ability to work in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to catch details and not drop the ball
- Smart, curious, and excited about digging in and moving fast
- Motivated, dedicated, with excellent time management skills
- Ability to do the right thing and treat others with respect
- Naturally curious with the ability to ask hard questions
- Fearless in facing rejection and staying motivated
- Strong desire to learn and promote into an AE role
