Job Description
Summary: CourseCo, Inc. is a forward-thinking company with a robust presence and over 2,000 employees across eight states. The Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support across HR functions, including HRIS maintenance, recruiting coordination, onboarding, payroll data entry, and employee record management.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of HRIS and employee data, including job changes, terminations, and benefits updates
- Run reports to identify missing or incomplete employee or compensation data
- Ensure compensation data aligns with approved documentation
- Maintain employee records and ensure consistency across systems
- Support payroll-related updates through accurate data entry and system updates
- Maintain up-to-date employee records across HRIS and payroll system
- Assist with payroll documentation and data validation as needed
- Assist recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, tracking applicants, and sending resumes to hiring managers
- Coordinate pre-employment drug testing and background checks
- Support onboarding and orientation, including paperwork and HRIS setup
- Prepare new hire and termination documentation
- Assist employees with benefits-related questions and support enrollment activities
- Provide administrative support for HR-related inquiries as part of a shared HR team function
- Support benefits administration and documentation tracking
- Initiate leave of absence requests through vendor and ensure cases are properly opened
- Track LOA status through vendor communication and maintain internal logs
- Direct employee and manager questions when appropriate and escalate issues as needed
- Monitor workers’ compensation activity via vendor systems, maintain internal logs, and flag updates to HR leadership
- Assist with compliance reporting and documentation (ACA, EEO-1, unemployment claims, audits)
- Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with HR-related tasks as assigned
- Support organization of HR records for corporate and field locations
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and HR initiatives

Required Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, administrative, or payroll support roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support team needs
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-state environment
- High degree of professional integrity and accountability, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional HR-related education
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
