Job Description
Summary: Corza Medical is committed to providing remarkable service and exceptional products to surgical providers. The Territory Sales Specialist will drive growth within non-acute markets, build relationships with medical professionals, and manage sales activities to meet goals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a defined non-acute territory to meet or exceed sales goals for Corza Medical’s Wound Closure and surgical product portfolio
- Identify and convert new customer opportunities through prospecting, product presentations, and follow-up
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and procurement/purchasing teams
- Conduct in-services, product demonstrations, and staff education sessions to support product utilization
- Develop account strategies that increase product adoption and market share within assigned territory
- Monitor customer activity, market trends, and competitor actions; communicate insights to sales leadership
- Maintain accurate sales and activity records using CRM (Salesforce.com)
- Demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated approach to managing sales activities, time, and travel
- Travel within assigned territory up to 30% of the time
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1–2 years of outside sales or customer-facing experience (B2B, healthcare, or related fields) prospecting weekly
- Interest in medical device or healthcare industry; previous internship or entry-level exposure is a plus
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
- Ability to travel within territory and occasionally overnight
- Must live within the assigned territory area
- This role requires meeting the hospital credentialing requirements
