jobDescription
Audit:
-Planning, perform and evaluation of internal plant process audits of all areas for Continental and off-take plants in the APAC region as well as the conduction of QM system, Process and Product audits in all relevant plants.
-Ensure the establishment of necessary corrective measures and follow up on the realization of the defined measures.
Concepts:
-Responsible to create, update and communicate re-occurring reports, to review the actual status, monitor the trends and if necessary to initiate corrective actions as well as responsible to create presentations out of this to report to upper management.
Cooperation:
-Consultant for other departments and projects in quality related questions and responsible to improve the cooperation with other central functions like Engineering, Process Development, R&D, Manufacturing, Central Customer Service and Marketing.
Training:
-Responsible to conduct technical training and Quality tools methodology with the plants and central functions.
Standards:
-Development and continuous review of all necessary product and process quality standards in central & plant locations.
-Development and continuous improvement of process related documentations as part of the QM system in the plants.
Projects:
-Participate in projects out of the areas Engineering, Process Development, R&D, Manufacturing, Central Customer Service and Marketing.
-Leading QM related projects.
Process:
-Organise and lead (Curing) Regional Process Community for APAC plants; collecting and resolving bottom-up challenges and gaps with the help of the Global Process Communities, review feasibility and monitor implementation of relevant PoMS documentation and share best case practices.
qualifications
Engineer (mechanical, chemical) or similar education background.
5 years experience minimum in tire production, plant quality management or R&D. Tire background is recommended.
Advanced knowledge in IATF16949, ISO9001, Six Sigma and similar qualifications, SPS
Leadership experience not mandatory, but strong interpersonal skills (able to communicate effectively, take initiatives, etc.) needed.
Willingness to travel 20-30% of work time.
Fluent English is required as basic requirement.
