Job Description
Summary: Cohesity is the leader in AI-powered data security, serving over 13,600 enterprise customers globally. They are seeking an Inside Sales Intern to drive growth through virtual sales of data management and security solutions, focusing on prospecting, maintaining records, and qualifying leads.
Responsibilities:
- Execute virtual outbound prospecting using phone, email, and social channels
- Research and identify IT decision-makers in commercial accounts ($100M-$1B revenue)
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce
- Process inbound marketing qualified leads that are routed to you in Salesforce for your territory within an agreed timeframe
- Hold discovery calls with prospects to qualify their needs while successfully positioning Cohesity and how our solutions can address their needs / pain points
- Schedule qualified meetings for Cohesity Commercial Account Executives
- Participate in daily team meetings and weekly training sessions
Required Qualifications:
- Professional written and verbal communication skills and no fear of talking to prospective customers on the phone
- Extremely coachable with a desire to learn. You are willing to receive and implement feedback

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce and sales engagement platforms
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Understanding of data protection, cloud storage, or cybersecurity concepts
